We can't stop the giveaways until everything has been given away right? RIGHT!! Everyone is going to want this Twice as Nice....Plus More pattern booklet by Anne Dease. Why? Because with this pattern you can make two or three quilts at the same time. All you need is a Jelly Roll and a few additional fabrics to make two and even three quilts.
Quilt in a Day didn't stop at the pattern, they also sent the 9 1/2 inch Triangle Square Up Ruler to go with the pattern. Now all you need is a Jelly Roll and some fabric for borders, binding and backing.
Thank you so very much for these lovely gifts Quilt In A Day and Eleanor I will really enjoy them.....oops I mean.....a lucky IHAN blog writer will enjoy these....ok I've got to get this straight....one lucky IHAN blog reader will be thrilled to win and I'll be so sad to see the 9 1/2 inch Triangle Square Up Ruler and Twice as Nice Plus More pattern booklet leave IHAN headquarters.
If I were not counting hundreds of comments I'd run downstairs and whip up a sample to show everyone Twice as Nice Plus More quilts....but I would make lots of folks very sad so you are just going to have to settle for the beautiful photos on the pattern.
I posted Eleanor's book, Day and Night Quilt earlier in this giveaway and let everyone know about her Newsletter, Community Forum, and Blog....I think I left out her Facebook page....but I want to know who signed up for the Newsletter, checked into her blog or Facebook page. If you did please leave that in your comment on this post....I'm just curious :) I forgot to mention there are Free Patterns on Quilt in a Day's website...we love free patterns :)
Don't forget to pre-order Eleanor's new book, "Quilt Blocks on American Barns." I don't know who started the rumor that the title of the books was, American Tattoos on Biker Babes Booties (a lie). Some folks just can't get their facts straight :)

It is hard to decide which part of this prize is the best--the pattern, the ruler, the pattern, the ruler......hard to decide. I guess if I won them I would be able to make up my mind. THanks!

ReplyDeleteThe Triangle Square Up Ruler is just what I need. I can't seem to cut anything straight. I either need a good ruler or good therapy, whichever lets me me explore the most sewing.
This looks fabulous and I would be happy to win this. I went to the site but I am very glad you provided the link to the free pattern section as I would not have found it otherwise! Lovely though once I got there. I might have to persevere and look for all the other stuff that is not immediately obvious!

I have been receiving QIAD newsletters for quite a long while, and I am a member of her online Community Forum too (for about 3 years). Thanks so much for including the Queen of quilting in a day in your giveaway prizes!

Didn't see any special instructions for this give away so here goes - lovey gifts and sure to be useful. I am a sucker for nice rulers and quick projects which covers all of these. I do check out Elenaor's web page occasionally to see what is new. Also will shop her venue at Paducah next week several times I am sure.

ReplyDeleteI have been getting Eleanor's newsletter for a loooooong time - just checked out her blog too. I use the QIAD 61/2 inch square up ruler all the time so the 91/2 would come in handy too! and the book sounds great. Thanks.

what a neat pattern. I think it would be really neat to cut out 3 quilts at once. I hate cutting so that would help. Also love QIAD. I did go and read her Blog and am now following it on my reader. I can't wait to see the new books, their ideas for piecing are so different.
ReplyDeleteMy first ever attempt at a quilt was Log Cabin QIAD! I have several of her rulers including the fly geese and love her fast technique for HST units. Could really use a good square up ruler for my collection.

ReplyDeleteTools are wonderful and often hard to find. Eleanor Burns has some great methods. I'm waiting to see her new book on the Quilt Barns -- we have some wonderful local Quilt Barn Trails about an hour away in NC.

ReplyDeleteOh my, I enjoyed my visit to Eleanor Burns' blog the other day. I had a class with her where? maybe San Marcos once upon a lifetime ago, and also one in Anchorage a different lifetime ago. Her rulers are perfect for the kind of work I do, (messy). Hope I win.

I love rulers, but do not have the 'Triangle Square Up Ruler 9 1/2in.' It would be a great help, if I am going to be working on three quilts. I need all the help I can get!!!
